Yesh Atid MK Dov Lipman gleefully poured freezing cold water on his head Monday, accepting the Ice Bucket Challenge to benefit the ALS Foundation in the fight against Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Lipman, who joined a trend that has swept the US, said he would also donate towards research of the disease.
He nominated fellow Yesh Atid MKs Shimon Solomon, Yoel Razvozov and Yifat Kariv to take the challenge as well.
The Ice Bucket Challenge fundraising phenomenon asks those willing to douse themselves to challenge others to do the same within 24 hours. If they don’t, they must make a donation to a certain charity.
Each person who participates nominates more friends, who nominate more friends, who nominate still more friends, which explains why the trend has exploded.
