If you ever wanted to be denounced by the prime minister of Israel as a “left-wing extremist” who has “declared war on the government and the nation,” now’s your chance.

A meme generator doing the rounds on social media in Israel lets you plug in any name and receive a scathing, personalized attack from Benjamin Netanyahu, complete with his signature and official letterhead.

Zionist Union lawmaker Shelly Yachimovich submitted her own name, and was told “Shelly Yachimovich and her family are left-wing extremist activists who hate Israel.”

The text is based on a harsh and wordy response that Netanyahu sent last week to investigative journalist Ilana Dayan, after she published a detailed TV report critical of the inner workings of his office.

Dayan read the entirety of the response on her program, a three-page, 680-word tirade in which Netanyahu assailed Dayan’s character, calling her “a left-wing extremist” who “does not have an iota of professional integrity” and who is “one of the ring-leaders of the orchestrated attacks on…Netanyahu, which seek to bring down the right-wing government.”

As of Wednesday afternoon the generator said it had sent messages to over “50,000 traitors.”
