Palestinian cyclist killed by Israeli in West Bank crash
20-year Khalil Musa Amar pronounced dead at scene of accident; second bike rider moderately hurt and hospitalized

An Israeli driver crashed into two Palestinian cyclists in the West Bank on Monday, killing one and moderately injuring the second.
The accident took place five kilometers inside the West Bank, east of the checkpoint on Route 5. The artery was closed to traffic and police and ambulances were on site.
The person killed was identified as 20-year-old Palestinian Khalil Musa Amar from a village near Salfit, according to the Palestinian Ma’an News Agency.
The moderately injured 17-year-old was taken to Beilinson Hospital in Israel for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle was taken in for questioning by the police.
