A Border Police officer was lightly injured on Sunday during a physical confrontation with two Palestinian youths in Jerusalem.
According to Hebrew media reports, the officer was checking the identification cards of the two minors in the Old City when they attacked him.
He was transfered by paramedics at the scene to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment. Details of his injuries were not immediately available.
The Palestinian youths were arrested and taken in for questioning, Army Radio reported.
