A woman in her 20’s and a baby of around eight months old were killed Thursday when the car in which they were travelling overturned on the Route 90 in the Jordan Valley.
The driver, a man aged around 23, was lightly hurt. It was not clear what caused the vehicle to overturn.
The accident happened near to Moshav Masu’a in the West Bank, according to the Magen David Adom emergency service.
The woman and the baby, trapped in the car’s wreckage, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Israeli paramedics treated the driver on site before he was transferred to the Palestine Red Crescent Society to be taken to hospital.
