Cyberbit Ltd., a subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., said Monday it is opening new offices in Singapore, which it sees as an important center for cybersecurity technologies in the Asia Pacific region.

The new offices will enable Cyberbit to provide management and support services to the growing number of customers in Singapore, Elbit said in a statement, and help boost the firm’s activities in the area, focusing on government and financial segments of the market for cybersecurity products.

The office would be Cyberbit’s third, internationally. The firm, which Elbit acquired from Nice Systems in 2015, also has offices in the US and Europe.

The company develops and sells cybersecurity and cyber-intelligence products to and for governments, the military, businesses, academia, and critical infrastructures, among others. The products incorporate a mix of machine learning, big data, graph-based malware analysis, and other technological features that help detect, analyze, and respond to advanced and complex cybersecurity threats.

“Singapore is a country that is driven by technology,” Adi Dar, the CEO of Cyberbit said in the statement. “We are witnessing a rapid adoption of our solutions in the region and our presence here is part of our commitment to work in close collaboration with local government and industry to strengthen cybersecurity on all fronts.”
