A 30-year-old man suffered mortal burn wounds when his car exploded in Ashkelon late Monday night, in what police described as a probable mob hit.

Paramedics who arrived at the scene extracted the man from his vehicle and transferred him to Barzilai Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.
