Iran’s nuclear ambitions can be halted with negotiations and sanctions and without resorting to force, Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz said on Friday.
Speaking at a Contractors Union conference in Eilat, Kadima party leader Mofaz emphasized the fact that while Israel can not tolerate a nuclear Iran, it is not only the Jewish state’s problem.
World powers are scheduled to meet with Iran for a third round of negotiations in Moscow on June 18.
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said Friday that if world powers adopt a “positive attitude,” then he is confident in the success of the next round of negotiations.
