70-year-old paraglider crashes into cliff in northern Israel

The man, critically injured, is airlifted to nearby hospital

Sevety-year-old paraglider Yaakov Holetz was critically injured after crashing into a cliff near Zichron Yaakov on Thursday.

Magen David Adom emergency services airlifted the man to a hospital in the nearby town of Hadera, where he is being treated for back injuries.

He is conscious and in stable condition.
