Eilat hotel named best in Mideast by TripAdvisor
Herods Vitalis Spa Hotel ranked no.1 in the region, 25th worldwide in travel website’s annual user-generated awards
A luxury Eilat resort was named the best hotel in the Middle East, and the 25th best in the world, by TripAdvisor’s 2017 Traveler’s Choice Awards.
The world’s most popular travel planning and booking site last week announced the winners of its annual user-generated awards, and Herods Vitalis Spa Hotel Eilat was ranked among the best properties in the world.
Thousands of 5-star ratings on the TripAdvisor website placed Herod’s first in the “Top Hotels Overall” category for the Middle East, and the 25th best in the category’s global ranking.
The Aria Hotel in Budapest, a luxurious music-themed boutique property, took the overall number 1 spot for 2017.

The annual Travelers’ Choice award winners were determined based on feedback from millions of travelers collected over the last year.
For its 2017 rankings, TripAdvisor guests rated the world’s top 7,612 properties in 109 countries based on the hotels’ service, value and quality.
The awards include categories of Top Hotels Overall, Luxury, Bargain, Small, Service, B&Bs and Inns, Romance and Family.
“TripAdvisor relies on the experiences and opinions of our travel community to determine the winners of the Travelers’ Choice for Hotels,” TripAdvisor’s chief marketing officer Barbara Messing said in a statement.
