Five IDF soldiers injured in two separate accidents

One hit by bullet during accidental discharge in Jerusalem, 4 others hurt after their jeep overturns in West Bank

Five IDF soldiers were wounded Monday in two separate accidents. None of the soldiers was seriously hurt.

Four troops were lightly injured when the jeep in which they were traveling overturned near the Givat Ze’ev settlement outside of Jerusalem.

The soldiers were evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in the capital for treatment

In a separate incident, a soldier was moderately injured in the accidental discharge of a rifle at an army post in the Etzion bloc in the West Bank. Paramedics treated the soldier at the scene before he was evacuated to hospital.

The circumstances behind the incident were not clear. The IDF has launched an investigation.
