Police in Germany arrested two teenagers for vandalizing a Jewish cemetery in Treuchtlingen and causing thousands of dollars worth of damage, Israel National News reported on Sunday.

The suspects, aged 15 and 16, were apprehended after a week-long investigation into the incident and one of the accused has confessed to the crime. The vandals caused over Euro 2,000 ($2,458) worth of damage. Local reports say the it is not clear if the motivation for the incident was anti-Semitic.
According to the report the two are facing charges of disturbing the dead, damaging public property, and burglary at the cemetery that is in the Weienburg-Gunzenhausen region.
Three weeks ago in a similar incident a Jewish cemetery in Anklam was also vandalized although police have not yet made any arrests.
