5 injured in West Bank car crash

Medics are treating five people, including a baby, who were injured in a car crash near the Avnei Hefetz settlement in the West Bank.

According to the Magen David Adom ambulance service, the one-year-old and a 32-year-old woman were moderately wounded in the crash. The other three suffered light injuries.

The infant suffered upper body wounds, while the woman sustained a stomach injury, MDA says.

The crash occurred on the Route 557 highway outside the settlement in the northern West Bank.
