After public funding law, MKs must return primary race donations
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Knesset’s legal adviser says MKs who raised money for their next party primary run must return the funds to their donors following the passage of a new law on Monday that provides for public funding for all primary races.
The adviser, Eyal Yinon, says the donations must be returned within four months, and in cases where the donations cannot be returned, the funds must be turned over to the public treasury.
