Assailant was Russian envoy’s security guard, later killed by Turkish special forces
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleReports out of Ankara say that the man who shot and critically wounded the Russian ambassador in Turkey was part of his security detail. He was later killed by Turkish special forces.
Photos show the man standing behind ambassador Andrey Karlov while he gave a speech.
He can then be seen standing over his body shouting and gesticulating.
Turkey’s Anadolu agency says the attacker was later killed by Turkish special forces.
