Biden campaign chief says Democratic nominee on track to win election
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleJoe Biden’s campaign chief predicts the Democratic nominee is on track to lock up the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the US presidential election.
“By this afternoon, he will have leads in states that will put him over 270 electoral votes,” Jennifer O’Malley Dillon says in a call with reporters, according to NBC.
Biden “is on track to win this election, and he will be the next president of the United States,” she says.
Trump’s campaign manager Bill Stepien is also expressing optimism about the US president’s reelection chances.
“We feel like the president is in a very, very, very good position this morning,” he says in a phone briefing.
