Education minister said to warn that Israel’s headed for 3rd lockdown
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEducation Minister Yoav Gallant complains that schools are being prevented from reopening due to illegal mass gatherings that are causing the coronavirus to spread.
“In practice, what happens is that we pay for the illegitimate things that happen. Parties, protests, prayers and so on. Ultimately, the one who suffers is the one who waits in line, like the education system,” Gallant is quoted saying by Hebrew during a coronavirus cabinet meeting.
He also says that Israel is headed for a third lockdown.
