Gazan indicted for planning attacks against Israelis in Ukraine
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Palestinian from Gaza is indicted in Beersheba District Court for allegedly planning terror attacks in against Israelis in Ukraine.
According to Israel Radio, the charge sheet states that Sami Habib, who previously lived in Ukraine, planned to hire a call girl in order to lure a senior IDF officer to the Egyptian border crossing at Taba and from there to abduct him to Gaza.
Habib also allegedly planned to either carry out a shooting attack against a bus of Israeli tourists in Ukraine or place an explosive device on board one of their buses.
The suspect is further accused of helping Hamas to dig tunnels in the Gaza Strip.
