Hamas apologizes for violent, sexual Jewish-Palestinian cartoon
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHamas apologizes for publishing a sexual and violent cartoon featuring a long-nosed Jew in traditional Haredi garb and a Palestinian woman who represents the West Bank.
The group does not apologize for the depiction of the Jew, but for depicting the West Bank as submissive to Jews, Palestinian Media Watch reports. A Palestinian Authority policeman is shown standing near the crime and doing nothing.
PMW says the cartoon depicts “a long nosed Jew raping a woman in yellow, the color of Fatah.”
Hamas removes the cartoon from its Twitter account and apologizes after PA officials and many West Bank Palestinians express outrage on social media.
