Iraq MPs vote to remove parliament speaker amid row

Iraqi lawmakers vote to remove the parliament speaker and his deputies amid a major row over the cabinet lineup that has caused chaos in parliament, a lawmaker and parliamentary officials says.

But the vote, which was held without speaker Salim al-Juburi or his two deputies present, could be challenged on procedural grounds.
