Israel approves 2,500 new homes in West Bank settlements
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDefense Minister Avigdor Liberman and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today approve the construction of 2,500 homes in the West Bank, the majority in existing settlement blocs.
According to Liberman’s office, the decision was made in order to “provide a response to the housing needs.”
Most of the housing units will be built in the large settlement areas, but approximately 100 will be constructed in the Beit El settlement and in the Yekev neighborhood of the Kochav Yaakov settlement, outside Ramallah.
