Israeli rhythmic gymnastic team scores 17.166 in first final performance

In the first of two performances in the Olympic rhythmic gymnastic competition, the Israeli team scores 17.166 for its ribbon routine.

In yesterday’s heat it scored a total of 34.8 points, opening with a slightly stronger score of 17.250. The team scored 17.633 in the second rotation of hoops and clubs, securing sixth place and therefore a spot in today’s medal-chasing final eight.

The second performance will take place shortly before 6 p.m. Israel time.
