Jerusalem Mayor Barkat to London’s Khan: ‘We stand by your side’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleJerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat sends his condolences to London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan declaring the capital’s solidarity with terror-struck London.
“On behalf of all of the residents of Jerusalem, I am writing to express our deepest condolences to the residents of London. We stand by your side during this difficult time,” the letter reads.
“An attack in London is an attack against the values of freedom and democracy around the world,” Barkat says. “Jerusalem stands with London — today and always.”
