Liberman taps former aide as Defense Ministry chief
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAvigdor Liberman appoints former senior aide Sharon Shalom as his new chief of staff at the Defense Ministry.
Shalom held the same post at the Foreign Ministry during Liberman’s tenure there from 2009 to 2015, and played a senior role in the implementation of Israel’s foreign policy, Liberman’s office says in a statement announcing the appointment.
