Nature and Parks Authority issues heatwave warning

The Israel Nature and Parks Authority issues a heatwave warning as the mercury is forecast to continue to rise over the next few days.

The Authority calls on Israelis not to go hiking due to to the extreme weather conditions and the danger of dehydration.

The Israel Meteorological Service is forecasting unseasonably hot up to extremely hot and dry conditions with temperatures rising to as high as 34 degrees Celsius (93.2 Fahrenheit) tomorrow, 37 on Saturday and 38 on Sunday.
