Netanyahu meets Russian deputy PM on boosting economic cooperation

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets Russian Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov, and they discuss economic partnership between their two countries, the Prime Minister’s Office says in a statement.

Akimov is participating in the 15th Joint Russian-Israel intergovernmental committee of economic cooperation.

During a meeting at his office in Jerusalem, Netanyahu talks with Akimov about cooperation in the fields of medicine, science, innovation, construction, and agriculture.

Netanyahu stresses the importance of international relations and the continued dialogue on regional threats, while taking advantage of common interests, the statement said.
