Pope Francis falls in Poland, escapes injury

CZESTOCHOWA, Poland — Pope Francis falls after stumbling down a step on an altar during a visit to Poland but quickly gets back to his feet, seemingly without injury.

The 79-year-old Argentine pontiff stumbles, then falls down out of view before being helped to his feet by altar servers.

But Francis appears to be fine as he delivers a homily and says mass at the revered Jasna Gora monastery in Czestochowa, southern Poland.
