Pope hopes Iran deal will make world ‘more secure’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePope Francis expresses hope in his Easter address that a framework accord limiting Iran’s nuclear drive may create a “more secure and fraternal world”.
In his annual “Urbi and Orbi” message to the world’s Catholics, Francis applaudes Thursday’s agreement between world powers and Iran, and prays “that it may be a definitive step toward a more secure and fraternal world.”
