Tel Aviv mayor says to keep calm and carry on

Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai, visiting the hospital where the victims of a stabbing attack are being treated, says he will up security for schools only in line with recommendations of government officials.

Downplaying the terror threat to his city, he calls for residents to maintain their normal daily lives, and unlike other mayors, does not call for residents who have guns to carry them around.

“Those who have weapons understand when to carry them,” he tells reporters. “There is no magic solution. We need cool heads.”
