Third person goes missing in Sea of Galilee, 80 rescued
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA third young man has gone missing in the Sea of Galilee and 80 people have been pulled from the water thus far, police say.
According to police, the three missing people are 17, 19 and 21 years old.
The police credit “strong winds” with causing the large number of incidents in the northern Israeli lake.
During the Passover holiday each year, thousands of Israelis flock to the Sea of Galilee to swim in its waters and barbecue on its shores.
