Watchdog to PM: Release Gaza war report or I’ll call for probe
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleState Comptroller Yosef Shapira tells Netanyahu that he will recommend a commission of inquiry into the handling of the 2014 war with Hamas in Gaza, unless the PM releases the watchdog’s report on the 50-day conflict, according to Channel 2.
Leaks of the report’s contents earlier this year point to a fierce criticism of Netanyahu, then-defense minister Moshe Ya’alon and then IDF-chief Benny Gantz for failing to anticipate the threat posed by Hamas attack tunnels and for withholding information from the security cabinet.
