Israeli military forces were searching the area for the perpetrators. The victim received treatment at the scene of the attack and did not require further medical attention.

On Friday three Arab Israelis shot dead two Israeli police officers in a Jerusalem terror attack.

The terrorists attacked the officers in an alleyway, coming from the direction of the Temple Mount and fled back there as other officers gave chase. The police then opened fire, shooting the terrorists dead inside the complex.
