Police launch murder investigation after medics pronounce victim dead at the scene

A young woman, 18, was found dead Tuesday in a home in the central Israeli city of Ramle, police said.

There were signs of violence on her upper torso, including stab wounds, officials said.

Medics from the Magen David Adom rescue service declared her dead at the scene.

The home is located on Kehilat Detroit Street in Ramle’s Old City.

Police have launched a murder investigation.
