Five Arab teenagers were indicted at the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court on Thursday for deliberately damaging Jewish property in the Old City of Jerusalem in what the state prosecutor said were racially motivated attacks.

The defendants, aged 14-15, faced additional charges of assault and rioting.

Earlier this month over a dozen Jewish teens arrested for carrying out “price tag” attacks were released to house arrest. During questioning the Jewish suspects admitted they acted out of “hatred for Arabs and to avenge attacks committed against Jews,” police said.
