Recently-married Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli announced her pregnancy on Instagram on Thursday, posting a photo of a positive home pregnancy test stick.
She wrote: “2016 is going to be like…” followed by a baby icon and a bottle icon.
Fans were ecstatic, with the photo gaining 52,000 “Likes” and over 3,000 well-wishing comments within 5 hours.

For Refaeli, the news must come as a welcome respite from her legal troubles — the model is being investigated for potential tax offenses, and earlier this month spent 12 hours in questioning at the Tax Authority offices in Tel Aviv.
She is suspected of failing to report various benefits she received, which, according to some reports, amount to tens of millions of shekels. She also allegedly sought to avoid tax by falsely claiming not to be living in Israel.
The 30-year-old supermodel, who denies any criminal offense, has been required to get the authorities’ permission if she wishes to leave the country.
In September Refaeli tied the knot with businessman Adi Ezra, 40, at a ceremony in northern Israel. The bride and groom started dating in 2012 after Refaeli broke up with Hollywood actor Leonardo di Caprio.
