Conway said to punch a man at Trump’s ball
Top adviser said to step in with a flurry of blows when two guests scuffle during the president’s shindig
Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser to US President Donald Trump, allegedly punched a man in the face at the Liberty Ball last Friday night in an apparent attempt to break up a scuffle between two party-goers, an eyewitness said.
Fox Business correspondent Charlie Gasparino wrote a post on Facebook Monday describing events at the invite-only ball, a celebration held hours after Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States.
According to Gasparino, trouble first started when he and acquaintance “Charles in Charge” actor Scott Baio were assaulted by “a bunch of anarchist thugs” outside the ballroom, leading to some pushing, shoving, and an exchange of salty language.
At the intervention of his producer Brian Schwartz, the altercation ended and “crisis was averted,” he said.
Later, from his vantage point outside the main room, Gasparino saw two men in tuxedos begin to fight inside.
“Suddenly out of nowhere came Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, who began throwing some mean punches at one of the guys,” the reporter recalled.
The altercation lasted “a few minutes” and there were no injuries, he wrote, “except maybe the dude she smacked.”
“Now I know why Trump hired her. BTW I exaggerate none of this,” he wrote.

The day after the inauguration, Conway set social media ablaze over her unusual explanation for White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s assertion that Trump’s swearing-in ceremony had the largest audience ever.
Spicer had slammed the media Saturday, accusing reporters of knowingly minimizing the attendance at Friday’s inauguration and offering a series of statements that were shown to be false.
“This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration — period — both in person and around the globe,” he said, despite clear evidence to the contrary.
Asked the following day about Spicer’s statements, Conway said her colleague had simply offered “alternative facts” — a phrase that quickly went viral, and left a large number of Americans speechless.
