Victim’s family notified; Foreign Ministry working to bring his body to Israel for burial

An Israeli tourist in his 30s was killed in a car accident in Thailand on Saturday, the Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.

The tourist, who has not been named, was on his way from Pattaya to Bangkok.

The circumstances of his death were being investigated.

The man’s family has been notified, and the Foreign Ministry was working with the local authorities to bring his body to Israel for burial.

Last month, an Israeli woman in her 30s was killed in a skydiving accident in the Czech Republic, outside of Prague.

In June, an Israeli tourist was killed in a skydiving accident in Macedonia, while training for an international competition.

That week, in a separate incident, an Israeli man in his fifties fell to his death during a trek in Andorra.
