A man was shot dead in the central town of Gan Yavneh on Saturday evening in a suspected gang hit.
Police were searching for suspects.
Channel 2 reported that the gunmen fired on the man from a car, and then fled the scene.
Rescue workers from the Magen David Adom ambulance service who arrived at the scene of the shooting tried to save the man, who was said to be in his 20s, before he was later pronounced dead.
In a separate incident, police said a man was stabbed during a brawl in the Haifa suburb of Kiryat Yam. (Video below.)

Magen David Adom said that the 30 year-old was critically wounded, and was taken to Haifa’s Rambam Medical Center after receiving treatment at the scene.
