An Israeli woman plunged to her death Tuesday in Croatia.

The 73-year-old fell during a hike with her family at Plitvice Lakes National Park.

The woman was not immediately named.

The Foreign Ministry said a representative from the Israeli embassy in Zagreb was headed to the site of the fall to meet the woman’s family.

It also said the ministry was assisting in bringing her body back to Israel for burial.

The incident followed several cases of Israelis dying in accidents overseas, including a climber in France and a teenager riding an ATV in Canada earlier this month.
