The Defense Ministry publishes footage showing damage to the Erez Crossing with the Gaza Strip, after it was attacked by Hamas terrorists on October 7.

The ministry says that for the first time since the war began, ministry personnel returned to the pedestrian crossing to assess the damage.

The crossing had facilitated the daily entry of thousands of Palestinians into Israel for work, medical treatment and other special cases. It is not expected to reopen amid the fighting.
