Jerusalem Arab jailed for a year for incitement on social media
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleJerusalem Magistrate’s Court sentences 24-year-old Mahmoud Abed al-Latif, a resident of the city, to a year in jail for incitement to violence over a series of Facebook posts that advocated violence and terrorism.
“There is no doubt that these posts have a real influence on society and spur its members to acts of terror,” says judge Mordechai Kaduri as he delivers the sentence, Channel 10 reports.
