Knesset speaker calls on all sides not to ‘exacerbate tensions’ during campaign
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAs he announced the dissolution of the Knesset a short time ago, Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin called on all sides to avoid “exacerbating tensions” that could lead to violence.
“We are embarking on a difficult election campaign. I call on each and every one of us, and on each and every Israeli citizen, to avoid exacerbating tensions and to do everything possible so this election takes place in an orderly fashion and without violence,” he said.
