PM appoints Gilad Erdan envoy to UN and US
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePublic Security Minister Gilad Erdan has accepted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s offer to serve as Israeli ambassador to the UN, as well as ambassador to the US, during the first year-and-a-half of the rotational government.
“I am proud and excited for the privilege of being able to fight on behalf of the righteousness of our path in the international arena, and to defend Israel in light of the challenges ahead,” Erdan says in a statement.
