Right-wing MK: If we delay annexation, who knows when we’ll have another chance?
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAs US and Israeli officials seem to be backtracking on last week’s enthusiastic promises of Israeli annexation of parts of the West Bank in the coming days, Israeli right-wing politicians are responding with alarm.
“This is a once-in-52-year opportunity to apply sovereignty,” says Yamina MK Ayelet Shaked.
“If we delay it now, who knows when we’ll get another chance.”
She says her right-wing party would act to ensure a decision on annexation is brought before the cabinet next week.
