Rivlin hands out Purim treats to troops
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePresident Reuven Rivlin hands out treats for the Jewish holiday of Purim to Israeli troops.
Accompanied by his grandson on a “special operation,” Rivlin gives treats to Military Police soldiers and Border Police officers guarding at the Hizme checkpoint north of Jerusalem.
“Also during the holiday we remember our soldiers who are standing guard and thanks to whom we’re having a happy holiday,” Rivlin says.
