Tennessee shooter situation over, police say
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice in Tennessee say on Twitter that there is no longer a shooter on the loose in Chattanooga, after a police officer was shot.
Local NBC affiliate WRCB reports that four members of the military were shot in the incident that erupted in the late morning, but that report has not yet been confirmed by authorities.
“We have an officer down,” Chattanooga mayor Andy Berke tells reporters, without specifying if the victim was dead. “The suspect is also down.”
CBS News reports that the shooter is dead and that the police officer was shot in the leg.
