Trump takes lead in Indiana with very first votes tallied

Very very early returns from Indiana show US President Donald Trump leading challenger Joe Biden 37,585 votes to 16,285 votes.

The results represent 2 percent of the state’s tally. They come from counties in the more rural northeast and southwest of the state.

Indiana is widely expected to remain in Trump’s pocket.
