Ultra-Orthodox protesters in Bnei Brak demonstrate against holiday lockdown

Dozens of ultra-Orthodox protesters demonstrate in Bnei Brak against the national lockdown over the holidays.

According to the Haaretz daily, families with suitcases can be seen in the area of the demonstration making their way home, apparently using the exemption of protests to circumvent the restrictions on travel.

Video shows the protesters burning a dumpster in the middle of the street and reports say some of them yell “Nazis” at police.

Hundreds attend a similar protest in Jerusalem’s Kikar Hashabbat.
