Senior Hezbollah commander killed in Homs clashes

A senior Hezbollah official was killed in clashes between the Lebanese Shiite militia and Syrian rebels in the city of Homs, Israel Radio reported on Saturday, citing Syrian opposition sources.
Bassel Hamada was the third senior Hezbollah commander killed in Syria in recent weeks.
Hezbollah did not comment on the report.
The bodies of Hezbollah fighters killed in Syria recently were reportedly brought clandestinely back to hospitals in eastern Lebanon, Israel Radio reported.
The Local Coordination Committees reported that at least 61 people were killed across Syria on Saturday. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that 180 were killed on Friday.
