A 9-month-old girl died after she was left in a parked car on Arieh Ben-Eliezer Street in Ramat Gan for hours on Monday.

“Our paramedics found a baby of about 9 months in the back seat, lying unconscious, with no pulse and not breathing,” MDA spokesperson Zaki Heller said. She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors had to announce her death after revival attempts failed.

An initial police investigation said the father forget his infant daughter in the car after dropping her siblings off at their daily activities, but forgot to take the baby to day care.

When the mother went to the car, hours after the father had parked outside their home, she found the toddler in serious condition.
